As Director of the Texoma Giving Partners, Nicole is at the heart of the work we do together. Her passion is to match your charitable goals with needs in the Texoma community. Nicole looks at the world with a servant’s heart and open arms. “That’s what sets us apart,” says Nicole, “We’re small, we’re very hands-on, and our doors are always open.
We meet you where you are. We have advantages over “big city” foundations: we’re more approachable and 100% of your gift goes straight to the source. We don’t take anything off the top.” Nicole joined Texoma Health Foundation in March of 2014 and served as the Project Coordinator before transitioning to her current role in 2018.
Although Nicole’s previous work is broad, (including experience with a top 4 US bank, international meeting and event planning, and wholesale sales and manufacturing) she decided that working for a non-profit was her ultimate career move.
Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Texas Tech University. She is a Daughter of the Republic of Texas and a cancer survivor. She and her husband Garrett have a precious son, Gray and two sweet dogs, Levon Helm and Willie Nelson.
“I grew up here before moving around for a bit. It’s been so special, coming back to Texoma, being so connected to the community, being down on the ground really making change and helping others … I just want people to know that there are so many ways for you to give back.”
Come visit TGP anytime to meet Nicole, and to see her other passion project, the donor wall along the hall of the TGP office. This wall is a way of sharing the wonderful work of our partners. “When people come on-site, they can see a connection to the causes. It’s a small snapshot of the contributions in action and helps visitors feel connected to the work that we do. We would really love for you to stop by so you can see our work in person. Come visit anytime!”
The Texoma Health Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and a staff who strive to be servants to all those who enter THF and Reba’s Ranch House.
